FRONTLINE MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL January 25, 2010 Keystone Baptist Church 15 Keystone Ln Berryville, VA 22611 Dear Pastor Wright and church family: Our year is getting off to a good start, and I hope yours is too. Thank you for your gift to this ministry and for your partnership with us in the new year! I recently received a letter from a Frontline family who is planting a church in Bosnia. Their city was devastated in the war, and deep divisions remain. Of course, the biggest division is the one between those who are lost and the Saviour, and Vladimir and Marijana are addressing that need every way they can. Let me let Marijana tell you about a recent outreach when she invited 30 children into her apartment to celebrate Christmas and gave them packages and Bibles. Here's a portion of her translated letter: The children were excited since they never before celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ. One small boy said, "I was never present at anybody's birthday party and never received a gift before. " His eyes were full of tears. After the presentation of what the Lord has done for us and the Gospel that I shared with the children, I wanted to have feedback from them to see if they retained any of what I talked to them about. All of them were speaking from the top of their voices that Jesus came for us, gave His life for us, and resurrected so that we could live like He did. " After that they were willing to share from their own packages to give to the children in even greater need. All of them participated in that. Before they left, they asked me, "When are we going to have another party like this?" One of them said, "We should celebrate the Lord's birth every day!" Yes, good idea--celebrate the Lord's birth every day, as well as His finished work on the Cross, His empty tomb, and His unending life that is ours too in Him. Praise the Lord for the Gospel! Please pray with us that this year will see this message go further, crossing every political, geographic, and spiritual boundary in its way. We are counting on your prayers for us and thank the Lord for your partnership in the path ahead this year. God bless you.
