Tim, Kim, Jonathan, Rachel, and Benjamin Melton

The entire Melton Family currently serves as Missionariesunder Baptist World Mission in Nagoya, Japan. Tim is the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church (CBC) which is located in the Tenpaku Ward of Nagoya City.

Tim first came to Japan in 1965 with his parents who were missionaries. He grew up in Japan and lived there until he returned to the States for college at 17. After Tim and Kim were married, they spent their first summer together helping his parents as summer missionaries. In 1999 they returned to Japan as short term missionaries to replace Tim’s dad and brother during their furloughs. In 2002 the Lord called them to be full-time missionaries to Japan.

Tim visited our church 26 September 2010 where he shared his missions presentation and then preached the evening message. Everyone had a great time of fellowship with Tim and got to know him much better during his short stay with us.
