Dear Praying Friends, It’s starting to be winter once again here in the North. Already we’ve had two small snows which have come and gone. Pierre and I were preparing to have a bible study at Tim Horton’s when a young man approached us with a little girl. He asked if we were heading south on Highway 11 to which we asked why. His car had given out and he had bought another one about an hour from here thus needing a ride. He got into the car and we headed to Trout Creek. On the way we began talking about the Lord and when asked if he had a Bible, his third grade daughter said “Daddy, what’s a Bible?” Since then she and the lady she lives with part time have been given a Bible. They’ve attended one service and we’re hoping to start an in home bible study with them. Please pray with us on this. The Mormon couple that we had been ministering to is no longer with us. Tuesday night Bible Study with the man that accepted Christ in May is going well. He is now attending Sunday morning services as well. Please pray with us for him as he grows in Christ. Pray also for his unsaved wife and daughter. We are preparing for the Christmas Musical “The Lamb of Bethlehem” which will be presented at the Marina Point Retirement Home on December 19th as well as during the evening service at Church. Many posters have been made up and invitations are being distributed. Pray that we will have a good turnout for this. On Halloween evening the entire church was handing out gospel tracts. One of the teen girls went door to door giving out tracts with our pianist. While doing this, folk would give her treats. When she arrived back home, her brothers decided to also go out door to door (this was after 8:00 pm). One elderly gentleman that they met apologized for not having any candy to give them to which one of the boys responded, “We’re not here to get anything but to give you something.” We also used the film “City of the Bees” as an outreach ministry on October 24th during the evening service. There were 9 visitors who came under the sound of the gospel. Thank you once again for you faithfulness and generosity. May the Lord bless you dear folk as we each continue to serve the King of Kings…… Thank you for your faithful financial gift of $100.00 in September and $100.00 in October 2010. For His Glory Ernest and Darlene Bauserman |
