My name is Mary Herndon although my friends call me Lisette.   I have been married for 24 years and we have 4 beautiful children.  Our eldest son, Chase, is grown and no longer living at home.  Our second son, Kyle, is currently a "Coastie" in the United States Coast Guard.  Our youngest, Michael and Elizabeth, who are twins, are still at home and in the 11th grade.

I am the 7th - 8th grade Literature teacher here at KCA.  As a class we enjoy our time analyzing the different stories in our book but more importantly the stories are grouped in categories of study.  This year we are stuyding choices and this provides a wonderful opportunity to examine our choices and the consequences that come afterwards. 

We have wonderful class discussions on these topics and enjoy the adventure of reading.
